51ST CONVENTION

Girl Scouts Can Lead Anywhere

The 2008 Girl Scout National Council Session/51st Convention was a great success! Almost 10,000 people—including more than 1,800 National Council members(delegates) and thousands of Girl Scout members and participants—attended the triennial event in the great city of Indianapolis from October 30–November 2.

From interactive exhibits and riveting speeches by adults and girls, to entertaining performances and engaging business elements, Girl Scouts showed that they Can Lead Anywhere! Girl Scouts of Nassau County sent 31 people to represent us.

This is what was accomplished in Indianapolis.
